Internet Explorer（IE）でタイトルバーだけが文字化けする
原因はわかりませんが、Yahooやgoogleのツールバーがインストールしてある場合、アンインストールすると直るようです。

chkdsk /fを行うとunused index entries from index $SII of file 0x9. とエラーが表示される。
Windows 2000やWindows XPでchkdsk/fを行いイベントビューアのアプリケーションにソースがwinlogonとなっているメッセージに

と表示される場合がありますが、
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;ja;246882 によると、コマンドプロンプトで
chkntfs c:を実行して、エラーが表示されなければ、問題ないらしい。
でもあまり気持ちのいいものではないですね・・・。

Windows XPのスタートメニューの電子メールの関連付けが変わってしまい、違うアプリケーションが起動してしまう場合の対処方法。
（今までOutlookが起動したのに、ある日突然Outlook expressが起動するようになった 等）
1.スタートボタンを右クリックし、「プロパティ」をクリックします。
2.「タスクバーと［スタート］メニューのプロパティ」の「［スタート］メニューのカスタマイズ」をクリックします。
3.「[スタート]メニューでの表示」からアプリケーションの変更ができます。
